The provision of specialised security services within the wildlife environment is one of the services that have recently received a lot of focus and attention given the conservation status and developments in Southern Africa.  Wildlife has bloomed into a multi million rand industry, due to the rise in game prices at game auctions.  Futhermore, the increased value of land have inspired more private individuals to invest in this industry.

The influx of individuals from neighbouring African countries causes various challenges as most of these individuals are forced to "live off the land" in order to sustain themselves, hence an increase in poaching and theft of game has occurred and will continue unabated.

Inevitably the rhino crisis in South Africa continue with many of these animals being slaughtered for their horn on a daily basis across all the provinces in South Africa.  The demand for rhino horn is increasing out of control and in recent months we have observed that Elephants for their tusks and Lion for their bones and skin are also being targeted by organised poaching syndicates fuelled by Asian demand.
